A home school field trip on the cheap to Egypt is kind of attractive. Who knows maybe even get permission to hunt.
Just curious if anyone reading this had any first hand observations. It is the World Wide Web even though we sometimes forget. Maybe because of our discourse here those who could answer have to come to the same conclusion you have "stay the hell away from" the political forum.

Y'know what ? Go. I'm sure it'll be cheap. I'm sure the government and the libtard media have blown this thing up WAY out of proportion just to hurt the tourism industry in Egypt.
Fact is, if it LOOKS like a turd, and it SMELLS like a turd, do I really have to TASTE it to declare it's a turd ? I don't think anyone has such an uncontrollable urge to go to Egypt that they have to go right now, immediately. But, if you do, hey...whatever floats your boat. Personally, I like a nice place where they don't try to blow you up, shoot you, bludgeon you, or otherwise 'fold spindle or mutilate'.
By the way, Egypt does not have oil. They export cotton. Oh and one other small detail...they control the Suez Canal thru which 50% of the west's oil is shipped...they are of vital strategic interest and it is in our BEST interest to see things stabilize over there. If we have to support the dictator, because we cannot live live with a militarily-ruled government or if we cannot live with a theocracy, then Mubarak it shall be....
