It took a lot of courage for this woman to speak, what she had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least she was willing to take a stand on her and Australia 's beliefs.

Kind'a funny .... Political Correctness survives on people's fear of being labelled and shunned. If people just got up one day, and decided to reject it...it would be gone. I do not care if some moron calls me a racist, an ageist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, or any of the other racy 'phobe' labels running around. If people were a little less afraid of being labelled something they are not, the flow of genuine opinion and ideas could resume. ANd if people were not so afraid to buck the system, then the 'powers that be' would not be so bullied into taking such malarkey into account, removing a lot of societal 'consequence' to being labelled....I dunno...it's kind'a simple but first, you gotta know it don't matter what the other guy thinks...he's an idiot too.
Political Correctness drives me nuts, particularly in crime reports. A couple days ago, the Houston Chronicle's website ran an article about a local bank robbery. They gave this description of the perp:

The information provided to the press by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office described the guy as follows:

Someone, PLEASE, explain to me why the Chronicle would leave off five of the first six words. The police are looking for assistance in finding the guy. Why not give the public all of the descriptive information provided by the police? I guess we should consider ourselves lucky. At least they let us know that the perp was a male. The Chronicle apparently is less afraid of being labeled sexist than racist...
Other PC stuff from the local paper... it is very rare that the Chronicle mentions an arrestee's immigration status. And, they've stopped reporting on the amount of money Houstonians spend, through the Harris County Hospital District, on free medical treatment for illegal aliens ($100 Million per year). Five years ago, they reported the numbers, but, not any more...

It was offered as a means to see that people do not think all black people are doing the crime being reported...seems to me, if every crime story you print has a black perpetrator, there may be something to look into as to why all the perps are black ?

Is Houston a 'sanctuary city' ? If so, there's your answer. If not, then they're just rotten with liberals.
I don't think the city is as rotten with liberals as the majority of the news publications nationwide are infested with Liberalturds.
I can say with, as John McLaughlin says, "Metaphysical certitude" that the ratio of libturds to cons is much smaller in comparing the pops of Houston with the kind of jackwagons (another good one from the tv commercial) we see in national news publications.
Now, being an outsider, I do not know for sure, but if Houston has aligned itself as a sanctuary city, then the few LT's that live there have situated themselves in positions where their influence is way out of proportion to their overall numbers.

We WERE a sanctuary city. But, after the killing of an HPD officer a few years back (I believe his name was Rodney Johnson), the policy was supposed to have been changed. I tend to doubt that it actually was changed...
And, believe me.... We've got an overabundance of liberal idiots here. Witness the repeated election of Sheila Jackson Lee... the single biggest idiot to ever disgrace the halls of Congress.
We need some leaders like this.
