Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Get ready NJ. License plates for bicycles.

Tax it if it moves Democrats at work.

More wisdom.... The great State of Illinois has seen fit to raise its state income tax by 66%. Other states in the area are overjoyed, knowing that this will result in an outflow of businesses and jobs from Illinois to states with less absurd tax policy...

I look forward to it. Of course, I'm a rotten old curmudgeon.... In the warmer months,
bands of cyclists take over country roads and scenic lanes and obstruct traffic. They are 'entitled' to ride the roads, but they do not yield right-of-way to vehicular traffic. Screw 'em...let em pay to ride...and make sure they can do the minimum speed limit on their bikes before they can ride...hehhehe....

I think they have registered bikes in Milwaukee for about 20 years.

Ya, those silly helmets w/ those stupid mirrors hanging off of them. AGREED! That said however, we had to register and with it came a license for our bikes waaay back when. So it isn't new, where I come from.

What do they call the Department of motor vehicles in the states that already have this implemented?

In NJ, it's "Department of Motor Vehicles".....and YES they do wear those asinine helmets that will prevent NOTHING, and YES they wear those revolting shorts, and YES they do not get to the right so you can pass them, and as a bonus, they ride3 and 4 and 5 across.

They're pretty arrogant too...some folks ride behind 'em for a ways before they have to hit the horn...I don't give 'em a second...they should not be impeding traffic no matter what...heck, I'm thinking of having a compressor and air horns installed (that would be fun ALL summer long).
