Bill Maher declares firearms useless for self defense
Did anyone else see and hear the claptrap on Leno last night?
It pissed me off. He, like so many of the Hollywood anti crowd, associated firearm owners & hunters with the tragedy in AZ.
As firearms owers, we should just come clean and admit that our fascination with guns is a vice, like alcohol, tobacco, porn... We have no right to argue for self defense, because in his mind, if a real shooting were to go down, you be so paralyzed with fear that you'd freeze up or shoot the wrong person.
Nothing really new, here. It's sad incidcents like these, when firearms owners can use opportunity to spread awareness of proper training and responsible firearm ownership.
I surprised a co-worker today, when I told her that the NRA has a recognized program for teaching young children to avoid touching or playing with firearms.

I agree with DLG, who cares what he says, he's just another mouth for the wacko liberalturds. As far as I'm concerned most of Hollywood would be better off ten miles in the ocean. It's nothing but a cesspool anyway!
