Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Ive been listening to extreme heavy metal music for decades,(slipknot sucks though) I also watch gory horror flicks, never had the urge to murder or torture people. Know why? Because Im not insane! Im sure theyre been plenty of serial killers over the years that listen to country music too(which I also love)

Okay, I listened to it and I thought it was pretty awful stuff, but it didn't make me want to kill anyone.

I love you Chuck but I don't buy it.. That music doesn't make some one a killer any more than listening to country that makes you want to cheat on your wife and drink beer in a pickup truck.

Remember I'm a retired musician, played lots of music with lots of lyrics. The shooter was a nut case to start with. If that were the case there would sure be a lot of dead people around.
Gangsta music doesn't make you a gangsta, being a punk is what makes someone a gangsta, the music is just an ornamental symbol.

I know you guys are much more intellengent than that..I don't think the man listened to it once..There is a reason why Satan is called the Prince of the Air.

10 years of that crap plus...the psycho movies...plus whatever else is involved can corrupt one's mind. This is not Chuck7 theology..this is straight from the Word.."Evil communications corrupt good manners."

My son we adopted saw a youtube video once of Michael Jackson's Beat It. Ever since that day he's been walking or catching a bus to the Best Buy ..and dancing to Michael Jackson music 3 hours a day.I'm at school now..I'll post the video someone took of him later..He wears all black everyday and a white glove..His ring tones are Michael Jackson and he dances everywhere he goes..The local cops know him as Michael Jackson..He had a 68 IQ and is diagnosed with Asp Burgers..will post video later after work

It doesn't take much for mentally weak people to be influenced. whether it be by a beer ad watching a foorball game , a Mc Donald's ad ..or a few hours of Porn..Our minds are made like that ..the reason why companies pay an arm and a leg to post an Ad..People are weak...especially slow and mentally challenged people..I beleive music had a huge part in the late 60s ...to get folks hooked on drugs.

2 Cor. 10 says that the Satanic battle is in the mind and we are to take every thought captive...can one keep up with all the Satanic darts that attack the mind through bad music..heck no....bad music is like a rapid fire machine gun..

Well i dont totally disagree with ya C7-i agree some ppl are influenced( including negitivly) by things, some easly. And not just the mentally challanged.

When i think of the masses.. i think of.....

Who gets to control the input of all the info, materials in the various medias,- the goverments?

Shoudt each person be givin enough rope( just a saying?) (& freedom) to hang themselfs if they wish)?( those of sound mind)-and be responable for themselfs & what they do only.
.................................................. ........
Son of Sam claimed his nabors black dog told him what to do.

9/11 terrorists/highjackers claimed to be doing gods work.
( unless of course you want to think someone else did it all)

Cool

The sicknesses in our society are not a product of that kind of music, etc.

That stuff is a product of the sicknesses in our society.
