Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Speaking of violent vitriol

The Westboro Baptist Church is planning on protesting the funerals of those killed in Arizona.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/ariz...ro-protestors/
Quote:
As the families of the victims of Saturday’s shooting in Tucson prepare to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones, the Westboro Baptist Church is getting ready to deploy protesters to picket funerals, including that of Saturday’s youngest victim, 9-year-old Christina Green. But according to the latest reports, the Arizona state legislature is seeking to limit the infamous group‘s ability to disrupt the victims’ funerals, once again raising conflicting questions over the grieving families’ right to privacy vs. an individuals right to protest.

And then watch the so called pastor Fred Phelps prays for more shooters, more shootings and more death. I know one place and one person that the violence needs to be directed towards. There are no words for people like this sick piece of **** and his followers!Un-friggin believable.

You gotta love this country, where idiots are protected by law. This guy calls himself a Baptist, but he's as much a Baptist as Barry is a conservative.

And $#$holes like VC will put all Christians in the same category!

The pukes at that so called "church" are very seldom publically criticized by mainstream Christian ministers. Wonder why that is? If the media would stop covering the escapades of that bunch and Christian ministers would openly criticize their sorry acts they would go a way.

We need more people like the good folks in Mc Allister Oklahoma when they TRIED to protest the GI’s funeral. He might have freedom of speech, we also have certain freedoms to run idiots like that out of town.
They get away with crap like in a city with men with no testies!

Bingo, Rev.
There have been two cases where Okies sent the Westboro pukes packing.

Phelps has about 13 kids. Three or four of them have quit the so-called "church". Not surprisingly, perhaps, Phelps abused his wife. Nate Phelps, the son of the so called "pastor", speaks out:

Quote:
On the first anniversary of my father’s suspension, I returned home from school to find my mother weeping in the church vestibule. My older brother, Mark, was trying to comfort her. She turned to him, her eyes red and swollen, her voice choked with rage. She yanked the stocking cap off her head, revealing that her long dark hair has been coarsely chopped off. “He cut my hair off”, she cried. Looking closer, I could see that in some places her white scalp has been exposed.

Unfortunately, Nate Phelps came to distrust the Christian faith.

There are extremists in every group. Extremists who do not represent the whole. A certain religion of peace comes to mind.

I am a Christian. In no way does WBC reflect my beliefs. I do not recognize them as followers of Christ.

funny....these ersatz Christians need a lesson....they must be made to be tested for the strength of their convictions.....maybe 8 or 9 Rottweilers let loose on them might see how much they believe in their garbage...

I remember a few years back, the Youssouf Hawkins murder in Bensonhurst Brooklyn.
Al Sharpton and Co. made weekly visits to that neighborhood to protest in the vilest and most provocative way possible, the actions of some neighborhood miscreants.
Two blocks from the 'march route' there was a street festival...ostensibly to a Saint....a Madonna or something...that it was said that John Gotti used it as his personal travelling funds raiser. IT was allegedly mob-run and everyone accepted the possibility. Sharpton threatened to march his pack of morons up to that avenue and disrupt the 'feast'. Word went around the neighborhood (scuttlebutt travels fast...) that Sharpton was 'told' he'd be 'found somewhere' if he disrupted the feast/carnival. So Al marched his skunks right up the last cross-block....turned to the crowd and told them 'we've made our point' and disbanded the group.

Seems the same sort of things need to happen to this church. I don't mind if they protest whatever they want....the protest should be held in a place where they can make as much noise as they want, but the people burying their beloved dead don't have to see them, hear them, or read their signs. This sort of thing must stop...
