Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default (Candice won the poll!)Thank you for helping Canadian Firearms Owners

Edit:

Thank you everyone for voting!

Candice Hoeppner won the poll and was declared the 2010 political game changer on the CBC. Candice was interviewed on the CBC show Power and Politics.

Candice received some air time to talk about the ineffective long gun registry. Candice also talked a bit about herself and her values.

The poll is still open, but Candice was declared the winner. If you are interested, the poll results can be seen here:

Candice was winning the vote by 1600 plus votes before Christmas and then had to come back from losing (after WikiLeaks received 1600 plus votes in some kind of vote flooding on Christmas Day), to eventually winning the poll.

Thank you everyone for the help!

Easy to vote multiple times and it is a low vote total so it should be easy to keep her number up. I voted 8 times in a couple of minutes.

Thank you for helping!

It won't let me vote more than once. The number of votes don`t change.

That's the Liberal way, Canada has it's share of problems, and it's only going to get worse with Libs running the country.

There are a lot of Canadians that would with agree that sentiment.

There is a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) poll asking who the biggest Political game changer in Canada was this year.
No offense, but why is this important? How does it effect long gun registry one way or another?

Cool

I wish you luck, but I don't think I should be trying to influence Canadian politics. As a close neighbor, I'm interested, but trying to affect what you do there would be wrong I think.

The winner gets more air time on the CBC. If Candice wins, she gets to talk about being pro-firearms on the CBC (our most well known channel) that has ran with a lot of anti-firearm stories.

Candice introduced a bill to get rid of our long gun registry (some would read that to mean, "confiscation list"). (Edit: The bill was defeated by only two votes, but more pro-firearm views on CBC is a good thing).

No problem. I understand.

The only reason I posted this is due to WikiLeaks getting over 1600 votes on Christmas Day. This seemed very odd to me since it took around two and a half weeks for WikilLeaks to get around 2900 votes. I wanted to fight back. WikiLeaks has had very little effect in Canadian politics and shouldn't have been included in the poll, let alone be winning with a windfall of Christmas Day votes.
