Look at the regs and see if it is legally reasonable for the feds to take this stance. You know, deal with the law here.

I don't think it has anythint to do with the regs, more like PC run wild.

This seems to be the only thing in the article worth discussing. It is a PC world in which acknowledging one thing automatically means discriminating against another.
For example, if I tell a student, "Good luck on your ACT test this weekend," but didn't say it to another, it must mean I want the other to fail.

I did the regs don't apply to this situation. Because there is not Jewish symbol IE:menorha(sp) they dicriminate against Jews? BS

My, my. It is good to understand that the majority culture in the US sets the tone. When you reference the majority religion, it certainly can seem exclusionary.
So, if you think the regs don't apply, what is the history of the application of the regs? Where else have they been cited as to religious displays? We need to know that before making that type of judgment.
