Default Four Suspects in Custody..

Four Suspects in Custody, One Still Pursued In Connection With Killing of Border Patrol Agent
Thursday, December 16, 2010
By Edwin Mora
U.S. Border Agent Brian A. Terry, shot and killed on Dec. 14, 2010, near Rio Rico, Arizona, while trying to catch bandits who target illegal immigrants.

(CNSNews.com) -- Four suspects are being held and one other is still at large in connection with the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was shot and killed on Tuesday apparently by bandits near Rio Rico, Arizona, according to a
statement from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
The FBI and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office are leading the investigation into the incident.
Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry was shot and killed in the CBP’s Tucson sector, which as CNSNews.com previously reported, is one of the busiest gateways along the southwest border for human and drug smuggling.
“Agent Terry’s murder is a tragic reminder of the ever-present dangers
U.S. Customs and Border Protection uniformed personnel face as they
protect our nation’s borders,” stated the CBP.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Terry family for their tragic
loss,” said CBP Commissioner Alan Bersin. “Our commitment to Agent
Terry and his family is that we will do everything possible to bring
to justice those responsible for this despicable act.”
As reported earlier today Janet Napolitano, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is going to Arizona on Thursday and Friday to meet with Border Patrol officials about the killing of Agent Terry.
Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada told CNSNews.com that the four suspects were apprehended the morning following the shooting, which Estrada said took place around 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspects were arrested near the place of the shooting and are being held by FBI. At least one other suspect is still being pursued, according to the CBP.

Hey Rev, correct me if I am wrong but aren't Texans legally able to use lethal force against trespassers?

If this is correct it seems that the property owners need to start banding together and start taking out the invaders and piling them up for the buzzards.

Not to worry, Rev. Jarring Janet Napolitano is on he way to cheer up those border patrol agents.

The quoted article fails to mention the fact that the four captured scumbags are illegal aliens. At least one has a rap sheet for assault on a police officer. He has been deported twice.

Quote:
“The Border Patrol said that Manuel Arianes, a.k.a. Manuel Arellanes Osorio, was wounded in the gunfight. Arianes, 34, and a Mexican national, was convicted in Maricopa County Superior Court in 2006 for aggravated assault on a police officer, and had been deported to Mexico twice, according to sources familiar with his case,” Arizona’s The Republic reported.

.................................................. .....

“The fact that a twice deported dangerous Mexican criminal alien was able to violate our borders once again and participate in a deadly ambush on U.S. Border agents highlights just how unsecured our southern border really is, especially in the Tucson Sector in Arizona. It is long overdue to deploy American troops to that region to quell the foreign violence that occurs regularly now deep inside our borders,” says Jeff Schwilk leader of the San Diego Minutemen.

Well under certain conditions you can shoot a trespasser, but in most cases unless your life is in danger it's best to just let them keep on pouring concrete.

In Texas you can shoot someone at night that is trying to steal your car or in your car. Even though I've been hit two times this year to car thieves, I don't think I'd shoot anyone messing with my vehicle, that's why I carry insurance, unless I'm in it, then that would be a fatal mistake! The trespasser would be called "Dearly Departed"
