Watched Gen'l Coldwell, who is in charge of training the Afghan cops, on TV yesterday. He was touting the virtues of his training program.
We need to get out of the craphole that is Afghanistan ASAP and patrol the place with Predator drones armed with low yield nukes.

"Today he found this opportunity and he killed six invaders," Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement e-mailed to the media.
The shooter opened fire on the NATO troops and then was killed in the shootout, NATO said, without providing additional details.
Where they murdered or killed in combat? Aren't we at war with the Taliban?

He was Taliban. He was the enemy. It's not like we don't use spies to kill them. This is war.
For those who really feel we should just get out, what's the alternative? It wasn't always a waring nation. What's going to replace the vacuum? This is a serious war and we need to fight it as such. The ring leader is Iran. They need to be faced!

For those who really feel we should just get out, what's the alternative
If we are going to keep playing politics with American soldiers lives like we have been for the last several years then we need to get the hell out of the entire region ASAP and let them figure out how they want to live.
If we are going to stay then fight the damn war like a war should be fought. Completely destroy the enemy as quickly as possible with any and all conventional means at our disposal and to hell with what others think that don't a hand in the fight.

One of those six was a local boy with a young son, he was killed by a Taliban in a Cop uniform.
