Thanks, VC. Old OBL was getting pretty old: Over 8 years old according to the local hog expert. The shields were over 3" thick. The hog was fat because of all the corn he had been eating at the feeder. OBL measured 19" wide at the shoulders.
Three of his tusks were broken off. Turned him over for the photo so his one good tusk would show.
It sure was a hoss.. we hunted with Burnie this week and and one of our friends shot a pig, but couldn't find it.. on a good note Burnie and I did manage to go home with a buck.
