Ive been reading about this. Wonder if the world is going to get involved or let them duke it out.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs called on North Korea to "halt its belligerent action", adding that the US was "firmly committed" to South Korea's defence.
Wonder what muscle we will put behind those words? This could get scary.

There is a problem with letting "them" figure it out. There are 25,000 US troops in South Korea. Several US presidents sat on their fat butts and allowed North Korea to develop nuclear weapons.

Isn't it interesting that the only one who confronted NK was Bush. He steadfastly demanded 6 party talks but took a lot of he'll for that position. He got some supposed gains and gave into pressure from the left and gave a little ground. However, today we have Obama confronted with further cheating of the agreement, two violent attacks under his watch and what is his response so far? 6 party talks. Too funny!

Yep, Bush eliminated food and petroleum aid for NK-good move. Then he resumed food aid in FY 2007-bad move. Call it what you want to, i call it waffling. Too many US presidents have appeased North Korea and waffled on North Korea: The result is what we have today. Obama will also appease North Korea.

I think Barry got them straight; he called them and said “Quit it"... so I'm sure this will get them shaking in their little communistic boots.

Not a prayer. It will get 'involved' quickly and guess who will be in the center of the bar fight?
