Prime Minister Tony Blair just stated in a joint press conf w/ President George Bush that the intelligence about the uranium and the Niger/Iraq connection is genuine.

Well then who are you going to believe: Prime Minister Blair or our own President who has acknowledged that the information was false?

Along the lines, Prime Minister Blair opened up another can of worms by stating somthing to the point that there is the posibility WMD might not be found.

Bush did not lie under oath though so I guess that means lying about a uranium deal between 2 countries is not as bad as lying under oath about having an affair with an intern?

Tell me where the lie is in his statement.

" The British Government has learned that saddam hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa" .

Did they {the British not say that}.

I don' t see any lie. If anything they may have mis-led him and now Blair is standing by what was reported by their intellgence.
