Default Airport Security Bypass

Are you bashful about letting strangers veiw your naked body via a scanner, and/or place their hands on your "junk"? There may be an easy solution on the horizon...just disguise yourself as a muslim woman by wearing a burka that only shows your eyes. There's at least one report of a woman (or so they said--they didn't even confirm this) in a burka being allowed to bypass security--they didn't even make her remove her face scarf to verify she was who she said she was. janet napoletano is "considering" allowing muslims to bypass the security measures that everyone else has to go through based on their religious beliefs. Disregard who has been responsible for practically all terrorists acts of late......idiots for even considering this.......

People are already very upset about this. Allowing Muslims to pass because of *their* beliefs would be too much.

I am not a lawyer but I wonder, since when does a person have to give up their Constitutional protections in order to engage in a lawful activity? IE: give up your right to unreasonable search and siezure to fly on an airplane?

Since you have no right to fly on a plane of any kind. You're not giving anything up. The owners of the plane's demand that passengers pass through a set of security measures before boarding. If you want to fly, abide by the rules, and all is well. Otherwise, drive.

What a crock of BS this is.

First of all the owners of the planes aren't demanding a dang thing. Your wonderful government is.

You don't have a right to walk down the street. So, you aren't giving anything up by subjecting yourself to searches every few blocks. The people that paved these streets demand that they be safe and that the pedestrians go through security measures before walking. If you want to walk down the street be prepared to be strip searched. If you don't like it stay in your house.

The peoples right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures does not end when they board an aircraft, walk down the street, drive a car, enter a building, .

I am surprised these searches have not been challenged in court sooner.

It happened on an Air Canada flight out of Toronto, Ontario a few months ago.

I watched a "Care" worker interviewed last night and she said it was reasonable because the Mulim women can pat themsleves down.

Wrong, actually pilots and airlines are suing the TSA over it and some airports are pushing to eliminate the TSA from their airports!!

Given that we have been subjected to multiple attempts to blow up more planes. I don't see the security measures as a problem. Since you do, I suggest that you drive.
Better yet, try to fly home from Israel. They have much more stringent standards than we do. They also have no sense of humor, you will pass through their steps to prevent terrorism, or you will not be allowed on the plane. We must do that here as well.

And, yes the plane owners are demanding security measures. Do you know what the investment is in purchasing a new plane?
To not demand some type of security measures would be ludicrous in this day and age.

The pilots and their unions are suing over the exposure, and potential side effects of the radiation given off by the scanners.
I too think that the TSA is another level of HE** from which have come the most mediocre of workers. Their incompetence is astounding.
Second we must put aside out PC ways and start profiling passengers. Its a fair bet that the granny with knitting needles ain't gonna try to kill someone. However the 20 something male with no luggage except maybe a carry on, is a likely suspect, depending on his actions and appearance.
