Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default If You Disagree With My Politics....

...then you are my enemy. At least that's what the current POTUS believes.

The American people will vote on Nov. 2. alright. Obama is not too different from some of the despots in history who have underestimated America and the American people. It's easy to see why he thinks of Americans this way, because he has no respect for this country or it's people.

When did Obama ever "play nice"?

As I posted on another thread, it's ironic that the guy who promised us a new era of civility and unity in presidential politics has taken presidential politics to a new low. There has never been a president in my lifetime who has been as classless as this one when it comes to dealings with his critics and opponents.

It's expected that sitting presidents will campaign for their party's candidates, but most can balance their rallies with their presidential duties. Instead of going about his job, this one is perfectly fine with further dividing America with his hateful rhetoric if it will earn his congressional candidates a few extra votes.

He's already whining about Republican comments and how "non-partisan" he expectes them to be. Wah wah wah...before it was "I won, deal with it" and even recently "The Republicans can come along, but they have to ride in the back", followed by calling those who disagree with his politics "enemies".....but it seems it's sinking in that the worm is about to turn, so he's starting to pitch his tantrum early. Typical spoiled brat behavior.

Boy, you got that right! He is a whiner. Whether you agreed or disagreed with GW Bush, he is 10 times the man that Obama is. Obama blames Bush for everything he can think of. Bush hasn't made any disparaging remarks about Obama or his administration. Bush is a much bigger man with a lot more class. Obama is about to get his wings clipped. His power is going to be greatly diminished. He wants the Republicans to compromise with him...but I didn't see anything except a giant push toward the liberal agenda from Obama, the Democrats and the leftie congress these last several years. It's about time Obama learned a thing or two!

Great. Let's just have another civil war then, now that we've reduced opposing points of view to "enemy" status?!

So, if you don't agree with a politician's agenda or point of view, you're the "enemy"? That's profound, and it's incredibly ignorant. Does that make that politician someone's "enemy", too? If that politician is the "enemy", does that make the country the politician represents the "enemy", too? Now, pray tell, where - exactly - do you see that kind of stupid thinking going, and just how will this country be better for any of it?

This statement is inexcusable, coming from the leader of this country. It's not the signature of a mature leader. He owes everyone who differs from his point of view an apology. So do you.

Exactly. Those who support this shameful excuse of a POTUS just highlight their hypocracy in doing so.

The idea of the opposition being "enemies" isn't the only thing that concerns me.

I'm also concerned with the idea that any dissenting opinion is often met with a charge of racism against the president. Or that dissent from even issues like spending which we obviously cannot fund means you are hold a "radical" opinion, or that you are part of an "angry" movement. It is a new version of McCarthyism and once again words like "enemies" are being used to dehumanize anyone who fails to march in lockstep.

And all this from the party that call itself "progressive?"

I cannot believe how little of this gets questioned by the media in an era of 24 hour broadcasts.
