Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Gridlock

I can't wait for the election! I've had some cash parked in a money market just waiting for an opportunity. The stock market loves gridlock. I believe the next few years certainly hold more financial opportunity than the last few. Time will tell. If nothing else, it will be good to know that the leftist in the White House has lost the power to move his socialist agenda ahead. In the meantime, we will have to put up with a flurry of legislation from the lame duck congress. Obama will spend all his time with his pen in his hand.

It's still a big question mark. The fed has been propping up the market with all this printed paper. You have corporations sitting on a ton of cash however, a lot of it is offshore. As long as they refuse to cut corporate tax rates for repatriation of the money, it ain't coming here. On the other hand, there are some bargains and if the elections are favorable, next Wed should be a great day for the market.

this past year or two was the time to get rich in the stock market if you had money on hand to invest.

any stock a year ago is up 100% ytd at least just about.

there's always money to be made in the market, esp if you know what you're doing or apart of the good ole boys club.

Gridlock is music to my ears. I would hope through all this more people would realize that government is at it's best when constrained.

Was just about to write words to this effect. November should be a very interesting month for the market
