Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default How can we end daylight savings?

Contact your congressmen?

I know AZ doesn't have it, what other states don't?

Apparently I mean let's keep daylight savings year round! or even one time year round, switching twice a year makes no sense to me.

currently with daylight savings...
Sunrise: 7:16am
Sunset: 5:52pm

when we go back an hour that would be...
sunrise at 6:16am
sunset at 4:52pm

daylight savings makes more sense to me in the winter than the summer.

Sounds to me like you want to KEEP Daylight Savings, not end it...

Yeah, I'd like to keep DST, so we have more sunlight in the evening...

Nope, I love it and look forward to it. I like morning hunts and with it, I get to hunt an extra hour during the rut in the morning time before having to be somewhere during the day.

I don't mind either of the time changes; I just wish they would leave one or the other. As far as hunting it doesn't bother me at all, I just hunt what ever day light I have and adjust accordingly.

I don't know about all this or that. But what is rather stupid is, didn't you do this same thing last year on here? You didn't know that DST was what we have now. So you really want darkness at 8AM?

Yep, same ole stuff. Guess it wasn't good the first time around.

just checked, currently here in the Chicago area, Sunrise: 7:16am
Sunset: 5:52pm

works for me, so yes lets keep daylight savings, and not switch twice a year.

do any other countries do this btw? I kinda doubt it...

Yes, now, you do realize by Dec. 23, you would sunrise at around 8:20AM without jumping back and forth. You really want this? Then if you didn't spring forward, by Jun 23, you would daylight at 4:30AM instead of 5:30AM.

So which way you want it? Sunrise at 7:20AM in the winter sunrise at 4:30AM in the spring. Or Sunrise at 5:30AM in the spring and DST balances that.
