Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Obama: "Republicans can come...., but they have to set in the back of the bus"

Saw that last night. What if a Republican would have made such a blatant racial reference?

What happened to; "When I am in office, I will be the most bipartisan president,......."

All hail the great divider.

I don't know about burnie, I've noticed most of the time libs take up the last rows of seats anywhere I go.

However, you are right. Obama gets a pass for his racist remarks. Isn't it interesting how it was government institutionalizing racism and it's our president leading the charge once again?

Yep he has also referred to the republicans as "enemies." For all the chest thumping about how bad a president Bush was, I do not recall him referring to the democrats as "enemies."

I am hoping Obama will make even more ridiculous statements like this after the election. The MSM is doing a pretty good job of covering for him. But they can't completely hide this kind of stuff.

If a white president would have said that, he'd been tarred and feathered! Just another liberal dig, and they get a free pass.

Nothing that idiot does surprises me anymore.

Trent Lott was run out of office for saying less than this.

The president said that the GOP had "run the car into the ditch" and that his administration had gotten it out. 'Now, the Republicans could ride but they had to sit in the back.'

No 'bus' was involved. No racism either.

Don't be so quick to play the 'victim' card or to cry racism.

"The whole rhetorical turn is in reference to “driving a car in a ditch” metaphor that the President has been using about the current state of the U.S. economy and the GOP leadership that he felt led the country to the ditch. Of the specific comment, Gibbs said: “The president said this weekend that the Republicans are going to ride in the back and the middle class will be in the passenger’s seat,” adding a not-so-subtle dig to his political foes “we’re certainly concerned with back seat driving.” Hard to see right-of-center opiniotainment types chase this story as anything other than a twisted political metaphor, but there is certain to be someone who continues to drive this racial wedge. Who will it be."

The Wall Street Journal agrees, too.

But you go ahead and play the race card.

Too fuuny but the pres secratary Robert Fibs admitted the car in the ditch had an Obama sticker on it.

Also, when have we ever been out of the ditch? Seems to me with Pelosie's 5 trillion deficit spending spree with 3 trillion fully encouraged by Obama, we aint getting out of that ditch anytime soon. Europe is recovering but we're not. Another 435k new jobless claims. How is that out of the ditch?
