Being reported today in my local news and I will continue to look for the exact quote, Jimmy Carter claims 1979 was the best year in the US and it's been all downhill from there.

Just when Obama is passing Jimmy as the worst recent president, Jimmy likes to step up and remind everyone just how bad he was.

For us that remember waiting in lines for gas, I don't think we need to be reminded, all we need to do is pass a gas station to remember.

I also heard a quote from him the other day in reference to third party candidates, saying that Reagan won because third party candidates drew off some of his votes.

Dear Jimmy... Reagan had 50.3% of the popular vote, and an electoral vote margin of 489-49. Even if you add all of the third party candidate votes to your total, YOU STILL LOSE. MORON.
