Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

What do you want to be that a large percentage of that money came from people wearing towels for cowboy hats!

I wonder if they've got a pre-schooler in charge of mathematics at the White House...

Quote:
MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski points out that amid the White House's attack on the Chamber of Commerce, Democrats have taken in at least $1 million from "political action committees affiliated with foreign companies."

"The big problem is that money no longer has to be disclosed and that is a huge issue. It affects Democrats as well as Republicans. But, the bottom line is that the Republicans are doing it 7-1 better than the Democrats. To that extent, the Democrats are getting clobbered," MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell said defending the tactics against the Chamber.
As has been previously pointed out, the Chamber, which has an annual budget of $200,000,000, receives $100,000 in annual dues from foreign members, which is separately accounted for, and specifically used for non-political matters. But, even assuming that the $100,000 were used for political purposes, how are the R's doing it 7-1 better than the D's if the D's are getting $1,000,000. And, how exactly is it that the D's KNOW that the R's are getting 7 times as much if, as they say, "that money no longer has to be disclosed." Could it be that the low-life insects from the Left are simply throwing more mud, while asking "can you prove they haven't?" Traitors.

I was thinking the same thing, if Rep did get 7 times more the Dems would have already cried foul!

How can they bring this up without mentioning the Clintons and Chinese donations?

This is a very common liberal tactic. Isn't this what we see with the global warming . . . oh, excuse me, the climate change propaganda? Just throw out some numbers. 80% of the people seeing those numbers aren't going to challenge them and we in the media club aren't going to bat an eye and challenge those figures. And if a scientist or technologist challenges them, we just dismiss them as a sop for the climate change deniers.

And this tactic is used NOT only in the climate change debate. It is very commonly used by the left. And the media swallows the numbers whole without any skepticism.

Add in outsourcing and huge tax breaks to ship our jobs overseas.
