I dont have cable TV anymore, so im restricted to watching the local network news. In NY we have a tea party backed candidate Carl Paldino, running for gov. against the ape faced, phoney ,former nys AG, Andrew Como. Como is the son of one of our worst, and most liberal, former gov.s, mario cuomo.
Paladino has been raked over the coals by the local nyc media, since he won the republican nomination last month, he has been made out to be a thug for threatening a dirtbag journalist frank dikker, who staked out Palladinos 10 year old daughters house, heck, so would I if you were harassing my daughter.
Now hes being portrayed as some kind of homophobe, because he made a comment about gay pride parades, featuring men in speedos, simulating sex, inappropriate for children, and also that he is against gay marriage, so what? So is obama! I dont see the liberal NY new stations mentioning that.
This really pisses me off, because this state is a mess, our taxes are ridiculous, and it seems like half the state is on some kind of welfare. The liberal legislature is constantly trying to take our gun rights away ,like they havent taken enough from us. Paladino is just the kind of true conservative we need to fight the liberal mess we are in, in this state. He says he will cut property taxes 10%, says hell (figuratively)"take a baseball bat the legislature", and he will not allow the ground zero mosque to be built. Ape face cuomo, only claims no new taxes(yeah right), and supports the mosque.
Every night, all you hear on the local news, is how Paldino is a bigot, and a crazy man, but nothing about cuomo, its a disgrace! Paladino has put up millions of his own $$$, to fund his campaign, to try to change this state for the better. This man is a hero IMO, hes a businessman, not a PC politician like everyone says they hate these days, but you know the dumbass's in this state, will elect the polished PC candidate that the liberal media tells them to. GRRRRRRRRRR!

While I agree with you that he's by far the better man for the job, I think someone needs to sit him down and install a filter between his brain and his mouth.
I dont really see what so bad about anything hes said, he tells it like it is. Ill agree, hes not the most well spoken guy, but so what? I dont care if the guy can give a speech , I want him to cut entitlement spending, cut property taxes, stand up for our gun rights, and I DONT WANT THAT MOSQUE BUILT! Im tired of these NY PC politicans like bloomberg, schumer & cuomo. I want a knuckledraggin conservative like Carl, runnin the show around here, for a change

What I heard was right on the money, the he made an apology.
Homosexuals that encourage kids down their path are sexual predators. The kids consciences are not hardened enough yet to live with the weight of their actions.
Paladino is just not governorship material. He forwards racist emails and those featuring beastiality? Are we in an alternate universe here? You delete those, not send them on to your friends! Plus, he made millions off of renting space to state government which it may or may not have needed. So now he's an outsider who will curb spending in Albany? When's the last time an outsider rented space to the state?
At least he's forged some unity -- D'Amato, Giuliani and Bloomberg all agree the guy is bad news.

Are you on the friends list? I doubt it so how would you know? It's just that easy for me to dismiss your comments as biased.
I don't care who is governorship only because I don't think who ever is governor is the answer, but what he said was right on. Stop telling kids they're gay. Stop encouraging them in that direction. If your gay and some how have your own kids feel free but leave kids that aren't your own alone.

All the governor is going to be concerned with is property taxes and gun laws? I think there's a lot more involved.
Paladino would be a disaster as governor for the people of NY.
