An amalgamated cybersecurity bill that lawmakers hope to pass before the end of the year includes new powers which would allow President Obama to shut down not only entire areas of the Internet, but also businesses and industries that fail to comply with government orders following the declaration of a national emergency – increasing fears that the legislation will be abused as a political tool.

Where is the uproar from the media that would have arisen if this came from the conservative camp?
I still know people that rage against the Bush security acts, but when asked "How it affected them or anyone they know". remained silent.

You can say what you want, but this administration only needs brown shirts to be compared realistically with an European Country in the 1930's. If this administration manages to hold on to Congress and Senate, there will be such an influx of bills attempting to remove the 2nd amendment never before. This administration showed its true stripes when siding with the likes of Chavez against the Democratic country of Honduras kicking their wan ta be like Chavez President out of the Country.
