Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

It really should be against the law!

GM has a long history of excess as far as wages, salaries, and benefits when compared to other non-auto manufacturing concerns.

It would seem that in order to do that, they'd need to be able to garner political favors such as tax breaks, tax abatements, etc., or the numbers simply would not work.

The combination of money and elections is poison for this country from top to bottom, start to finish. It is amazing how much corruption we tolerate in so many corners of American life these days.

What a contaminated sewer this GM deal is.

FM, what are your thoughts on this??? I believe I remember you were against the Gov capping salaries, etc for them. Should they be allowed to do this or not. I like how they self-imposed a ban....until right before election season, of course. dam, I wish I was in charge of who is tarred/feathered/left for dead in this country....
