Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I just watched (as much as I could stand) bho's "news conferance" (sounded like a campaign speech). What a "leader"...

Everything is either President Bush's fault, the "Republican Minority"'s fault, or both. Trust him--he's doing great things, he just needs more time and more of our money. Oh, and be sure to vote dem during the mid-term elections.

At least he did, in a round-about way, say one thing. Since President Bush was able to accomplish so much (all wrong according to bho, but he did get a lot done) even with the dems controling Congress a big part of the time, and he (bho) can't accomplish anything productive even with the dems having fillibuster-proof control of Congress.....obviously he's saying that President Bush was/is much smarter than he, and a much better leader.

Yep... And I think Hillary is angling for a 2012 run. Did you see her yesterday talking about how Obama's deficits are a national security issue?

I saw that, and i thought the very same thing. Sounded like she was opening the door for another shot at POTUS

That would be a tricky thing if she were to try that. It would have to be done without Obama looking like he was being pushed out. Make it look like the Dems are abandoning Obama and Hillary could kiss good-bye to many of the minority votes that helped Obama in '08. it would almost have to be a supposed medical problem or something to keep Obama from running in '012 without alienating those who voted him in in '08.

I don't agree, I thnk it's been Hillary's plan all along. She bowed out of the election way to early and easy. I think she saw the light and said "whoever it is is going to look bad". It's going to take more than the 2-3 years a new president has to turn it around. After 2-3 he has to worry more about campaign.

Hillary is nicely positioned to get in early, make news, win the primary and take on whoever the repubs toss in.

Obama has been a 1 term president all along in my view

Well, Obama actually did "inherit" a lot of economic problems from the Bush Administration. Bush, in turn, inherited problems from Clinton who inherited problems from the other Bush. So on and so forth, for many generations back.

The problems with our economy didn't happen overnight. They were decades in the making. The problem is that Obama is pretending that it's all the fault of Bush and the GOP when it was people with his own political values that deserve a lot of the blame.

EDIT: I should also mention that Obama's socialist spending spree is making things worse, not better. But he's too stupid and arrogant to see this, so don't expect any changes in his willingness to throw money around.

It would be tricky but not unheard of. Kennedy challenged Carter and McCarthy challenged LBJ. I could see Hillary gaining ground over Obama. Obama has proven to be a problem for the Democrats, and since Hillary barely lost to Obama, I could see many Demos jumping on a Hillary band wagon. Of course, Hillary will calculate everything before hand, and if she sees a chance, I bet she will jump in.

My bet is you are right on the mark Bernie. She has stayed in the national light and distanced herself from obammy. He is falling like a rock and I think he will have a difficult time winning a return visit to the "White" House. Almost time for the staff to think about breaking out the best china and real silverware in 2012.
