Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default CNN, What a joke

http://money.cnn.com/2010/09/09/news...x.htm?hpt=Sbin

Unemployment down according to CNN, yet 9 states have not reported to the labor office yet due to the labor day holiday. This is pretty funny. And CNN wonders why they are tanking in the rateings.

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/nin...estimates-data

"For the latest reporting week, nine states didn’t file claims data to the Labor Department in Washington because of the Labor Day holiday earlier this week, a department official told reporters. California and Virginia estimated their figures and the U.S. government estimated the other seven."

Yep... The early headline this morning was "Stocks jump on employment data..." Market was up nearly 100 points. Reality has settled back in, and the market has come back down to a 30 point increase.

The Labor Department always releases a revision. But by then, they'll have a new month's hastily-computed numbers to tout.

I also think it's interesting how the administration invented the term "jobs saved". Economists all over the world were scratching their heads over that one.

That's because they can just make anything up... Pull a number out of thin air. Can't be proven one way or the other.

How is that CNN's fault? The govt releases the numbers, CNN just reports it. Every news outlet reported that jobless claims were better than expected, not just CNN

Did you not read the article? Its their fault for not noting that all numbers were not in. They spun the story. That is their fault. Now in about a week, when the real numbers come out, do you think CNN is going to mention the real numbers?????

A large portion of other news sources mentioned the fact that 9 states numbers were speculated. That is why I knew CNNs report was bias.
