So, according to Snopes he is either lying or he doesn't know the difference between his father and his grandfather. So either he is a bold faced liar or an idiot. I say he is both.

Saw a bit on snopes some time ago. I believe it's just a husband and wife team? As I recall, both are far-left liberals. How they became accepted as the authority on everything is beyond me. They simply use the internet and research a topic. Anyone else that cares to can do the same.
Either way, bho did say his father served in WWII, and that's not the first or biggest lie he's been caught in.

The emphasis is mine, and used to point out the fallicy that snopes promotes. The marriage did NOT produce a son--Stanley Ann Dunham was pregnant when she married bho Sr. bho Jr.'s birthdate is August 4, 1961. The couple married on February 2, 1961. Maybe it was an immaculate conception, as some folks seem to believe? I don't think so.
Anyway, point being is you can't put your full faith and confidence in snopes.

I'm willing to accept the thinking that Obama meant his grandfather when he made the comment about his father serving in WWII. His biological father played very little part in his life and his grandfather did indeed play the role of father to him. I refer to my stepfather as "dad" even though he really isn't my biological father.
This doesn't mean that I approve of Obama's actions as president however because I certainly do not.
I don't understand the comment that the "marriage did NOT produce a son." His mother was married at the time and you are considered the child of whoever your mother was married to at the time, even if that individual is not your biological father. He would then be considered a product of the marriage.
I was pregnant when we were married and married when Miriam was born. Miriam is, therefore, considered a product of the marriage and my husband is considered her legal father. The time of conception is not relevant unless you get divorced before the child is born. Then it's factored in. My husband could tell you that time limit rule, but he's not here now.
