Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Blogo guilty on one count.

Proving that in Illinois you can get away with anything. The land where mobsters and dirty politicians are praised!

Yep, it looks like the defense got a ringer on the jury. i imagine that Blago will be re-tried on some of those counts.

he's guilty on a law that shouldn't even be legal, cops can interrogate you and lie they azzez off and that's perfectly legal, but lie to a fbi agent and become a felon and get up to 5years in prison?

So lie to an fbi agent and no longer be able to own a firearm? does that make sense?

they shouldn't even bother retrying him, waste all our tax money on this?

oh ya that's the same charge Martha Stewart was guilty of...another felon we need off the streets and not to own a firearm right?

Amazing that the MSM reported tonight that the votes were 10-2 or 11-1 on all twenty four counts and yes there was a ringer from Illinois. She refused to believe any of the evidence since day one and prosecutors have stated the next go around would be a different outcome. So of course the defense has hit the campaign trail for the IL ex Governor that so many choose to support his innocence because this next round brings in some big shots of the administration. Let the Chips hit the fan.

It's about time people with power blatantly prove they own the justice system like in the good old days people pine away for. People have always known it, it just hasn't been that blatant. It's time that people woke up to the fact that all this touting of rights is only as good as the people who are in control let them be. You have no rights really. The second is pretty much a joke. What are you going to do if the powers that be want to swarm down on you and don't even think about forming a militia, you will be branded by the very people who should understand as lawless un-Americans and support the government they should be putting in check. As it becomes more and more blatant people will understand why that was put into our constitution.

Just remember one thing from this trial and no one caught it when it happen, he didn't take the stand. Oh sure people commented on it but no one saw the real reason, perjury. With a politician getting them on the stand and asking them questions will almost always get them convicted of perjury. Just look at Clemens, he was ignorant of our history. O North wasn't. Getting a politician on a stand is 99% of the effort in all trials of politicians. It's why so few ever do. If you hear of one taking the stand the guy either thinks he's a god (Clinton) or is an idiot if he says more than the 5th. Blago thinks he's a god but his lawyers knew to well what an idiot he was and couldn't be trusted to take the 5th.

I "watched" and listened to that chuckle head today (8-22) in a interview with Chris Wallace, this bonehead is a bold faced liar.
