"(CN) - The Supreme Court on Monday upheld a $20,000 fine against California attorney Orly Taitz, a leader of the "birther" movement challenging President Obama's citizenship.
Taitz appealed the fine to Justice Samuel Alito after the 11th Circuit backed U.S. District Judge Clay Land's decision to impose the fine "as a deterrent to prevent future misconduct and to protect the integrity of the court."
"The absolute absence of any legitimate legal argument, combined with the political diatribe in her motions, demonstrates that Ms. Taitz's purpose is to advance a political agenda and not to pursue a legitimate legal cause of action," Land wrote in his 43-page ruling.
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta agreed, calling Taitz's arguments "unpersuasive."

Yet, despite the fact that the head of his Council of Economic Advisors, Christina Romer, "resigned" after pointing out that tax increases are job killers, and despite the fact that his head of the Council on Debts and Deficits, Erskine Bowles, stated that the debt is a cancer and that continuing to spend like Obama has will "destroy the country from within," our "major American" President fully intends to push forward with tax increases, and not only maintain current spending levels, but increase them. One can only conclude that this President WANTS and INTENDS to kill jobs, and that he WANTS and INTENDS to destroy the country from within. I suppose that that is consistent with being a South Sider... as that area of Chicago is a slum of the worst order, where folks kill jobs through criminal activity and have destroyed that sector of the city. I find it utterly incomprehensible that ANYONE with more than two working synapses, could support his programs, unless they are, in fact, fellow "Rules for Radicals" Alinsky-ites, who are themselves intent on destroying the country.

And, the statement was about the 'real America'. Folks should not consider their small, homogeneous spot in the country to contain the 'real Ameirca". The place is far more diverse than that.
