Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default They let a gay judge decide??????

http://articles.sfgate.com/2010-02-0...n-judge-walker

does anyone else see the problem with this? Isn't this like letting the inmates run the prison?

This is like letting me decide if peta's tax exampt status is legal. I couldn't be anything but bias'd.

Pro-prop8 folks really got the shaft. Just another hit to state rights to decide anything.

That is total BS! The judge should have recused himself. Although I suppose a counter argument could be made that a straight judge would be biased. Still, the whole thing stinks! The will of the people gets overturned by judges that are accountable to no one.

it isn't over, but the new SC judge isn't a help.

For those keeping score at home, all forms of perversion must be the norm if the bibles predictions are to be taken as interpreted.

This decision by a federal judge makes me wanna puke. The judge should have recused himself, no doubt about that.

BTW: We rightly blame the Democrats for appointing activist judges. However, this guy Walker was appointed by Bush I.

I disagree with the ruling, but... If an opposite decision had been made by a straight judge, the other side would also be raising claims of bias and need for recusal...

aaaah... point already made by subnet. Nevermind.

Where does it end? What's to keep Jane, Pete, Joe, and Frank all from marrying each other? How about Jane, Pete, the dog and the cat? Do the dog and cat get health and survivor benefits?

Then can a straight judge not rule against gay marriage? conflict of interest?

This is such a non issue, let the gays marry, case closed. who cares.

Way bigger problems to worry about in this world, I hope it doesn't even goto the supreme court.
