Ya I wasn't paying attention to the tv, was online and it came up...
Guess it wasn't a very long story, thought it would be longer...but it wasn't.
It talked about open carry clubs vs. the NRA, I think it mentioned something along the lines of there are pro concealed and open carry supporters who don't support the NRA necessarily.
One good point was someone mentioned how people are so scared of guns because they never see them in public, etc...the only time they see or hear a gun is during a crime or on the news etc... and that these concealed/open carry supporters wanna change that, they were having a bbq everyone was carrying, and just saying how you're currently in a very safe place....ie none of the good guys are gonna start shooting after their burger...and no criminal would be dumb enough to try anything amongst a group of 50 armed citizens...
mentioned something about pro carriers wanting to be able to carry everywhere....like a bar, or a church, etc...I know it sounds odd to non gun people, but safe gun owners can carry anywhere and not cause trouble... also bad stuff happens everywhere... people get shot by bad guys in churches, bars, etc... good guys might as well be carrying right?
what about it ? I do not normally watch NIGHTLINE...my priority viewing at that hour here is "Family Guy", a much more informative and bias-neutral show...hehehehe...
The last time I can remember watching Nightline was when Iran was still holding our hostages. Ronald Reagan made Nightline a whole lot less interesting.
