The Afghan military and police are saturated with Taliban terrorists and Taliban sympathizers. NATO troops are fired upon many times every year by troops of the Afghan army, the Afghan police and the Afghan militia. The Islamic dictator of Afghanistan is always ready to whine and caterwaul every time NATO troops mistakenly kill an Afghan. The scumbag never says a word when an Afghan government lackey murders NATO troops.
If that's an accurate depiction, I will agree with you. But we cannot "just" get out of Afghanistan. We need to do something definitive about Taliban and AlQaida...
