Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default This country is so screwed up!

Seriously, we need common sense, not more laws, and more laws.

I think we need a dictator, course someone who I agree with...haha. To just come in and say how it's gonna get done and then go do it!

All this back n forth, and nothing getting done.

Pick any screwed up topic and I can tell you the solution in about 5 minutes...or at least a big step in the right direction.

I thank god that by the time I was 12, i had enough sense to not make absurd comments like this.

You do realize this country was founded by people who were fleeing a dictatorship? In fact, miilons of US soldiers have died ,defending us from being taken over by various dictators, thoughout the past 2 centuries. Now dont you feel foolish?

my point really wasn't about needing a dictator, but sensible laws/gov't.

by the time gov't fixes the problems new ones need taking care of, we need to catch up and stay 1 ahead of all this garbage.

The national debt is the biggest problem that we in the US face. Our country is flat busted with a 12-13 trillion debt. In a few years the interest on the national debt will be one trillion dollars per year.

I understand your point...what you want, is an EXPEDITER....one who can push things quickly to fruition to resolve national problems without the partisanship, bickering, porkbarrel spending/earmarks and politicizing of every issue. Maybe the states need to take things in their own hands, much like Arizona has confronted it's immigration situation.

At the rate things are going, I cannot see how we would ever pay off a debt like that. If you owed a loanshark that kind'a money, he'd shoot you because he knows he'll never see that debt paid. But with us, we have to limp on forever, owing money we cannot pay back except by the government engaging in institutionalized poverty.

and it is so amazing that everyone is STILL overspending without even a consideration for a long term plan to "right the ship". Fools.

and we're fools (even bigger fools) for letting them.

Well, we're TELLIN' "EM to stop, but they are not representing us anymore, they are GOVERNING us. Big difference. This is why they have to be rejected in November...ALL OF EM.
