Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Obama's Blame Game

The author does make a good point. Americans want to know what our President is going to do to fix the problem, not just watch him blame somebody else and duck the problem.

Blame game could 'boomerang' on Obama, strategist says

By Kristi Keck, CNN

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • President Obama frequently points out he "inherited" economic mess from Bush
  • "Playing the blame game only boomerangs on yourself," GOP strategist says
  • Surveys suggest Obama isn't the only one blaming Bush and Republicans
  • Democratic strategist says Obama needs to focus more on signs of economic recovery

(CNN) -- When signs of a severe economic downfall emerged more than two years ago, then-candidate Barack Obama was quick to point a finger at the man he hoped to replace.
Seventeen months into his administration, the message is often the same, and Republicans say it's time for him to drop the Bush bashing and take ownership of the problem.
"Nothing makes a president look weaker than pointing the finger at past administrations," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. "By blaming somebody, it looks like you are playing politics and people just want jobs. They don't care about whose fault it is. Playing the blame game only boomerangs on yourself."
Obama repeated that message this week when talking about the still-sputtering economy, twice reminding those at a town-hall meeting in Wisconsin that he "inherited" the economic mess.
It's a familiar message from his days on the campaign trail when criticisms of President Bush were as common as policy proposals.
"History will not judge President Bush kindly for his failure to act in a way that could have prevented or alleviated this economic crisis," Obama said in March 2008 shortly after Bear Sterns' collapse, slamming Bush for failing to instill confidence in the American people.
Recent surveys suggest Obama isn't the only one holding the Bush administration and Republicans culpable.... (partial print of story)

That about sums it up.

Every president since George Washington has "inherited" problems. Real leaders fix problems or rally people to their solutions.

President Obama has done neither.

Only thing Obama has done is to make matters worse. He's grown the government by another 450,000 employees and failed to give any private business owners a reason to spend or hire, although I see he's giving something like 2 million to a couple solar panel building plants to expand solar, for what ever good that is. A whole 300 jobs here in CO., WoooHooo.. He has created some jobs with his 868 billion dollar stimulus money.
Someone needs to tell him that to get out of a hole, you gotta stop digging.

He could have just sent the $$ to the unemployed people.
And to smal business's, and to people wanting to start a small business.

What we're seeing, is dolts jumping into the quicksand WITH him. He has no solutions...this is not the kind of thing community organizers do. A PRESIDENT is the chief executive and runs the business of the country. A community organizer tells the people he's organizing, where to go to get the gov'mint cheese or how to set up a brothel without government interference, with government sponsorship. A PRESIDENT takes command of a situation. Jimmy Carter left this country in a garbage can for Ronald Regan to clean up...and yet not once in his 8 years as president did Mr.Regan blame anything on what he was left by the 'georgia p-nut'. For this human-speed-bump, 'taking control' is allowing BP to manage it's own oil spill rather than taking charge of the cleanup on a federal level as is his mandate. For this puke everything's an excuse....everything's a miscalculation....somebody else's fault. He's a boy doing a man's job and someone needs to take him out behind the shed and beat some sense into him. Growing up in the company of marxists, muslims and addled hippies did him no good as a chief executive, that's for sure. ANd now we all pay for the stupidity of the independents who thought it was time to let 'a black man' be president, rather than to weigh the measure of this man against what he's demonstrated his support for in the past, where he's been, what he's done. The independents thought to put aside the calculated and verifiable criticisms of this faker, this fraud, this empty suit, in favor of WHAT THEY WANTED HIM TO BE, rather than what his record showed him to be.
Sure, he lied to them, but the record was out there for all with eyes to see. I do not blame Obama for the debacle his presidency is turning into. I blame the pukes who pulled the lever.

If we live through this failed experiment as a country he will be the poster boy for reviving conservatism.

Well, I think it's plainer than that. The empty suit's election was hailed as a breakthrough in race relations in this country. A black man was elected president of these United States. I remember when David Dinkins was elected Mayor of New York, he was hailed
as the 'First Black Mayor' .... a breakthru in race relations .... bla bla bla. His administration was so inept, his behavior such an affront to New Yorkers, he was a 1-hit wonder serving a single term and there has not been another black mayor elected in New York City since he vacated Gracie Mansion in 1993 (17 years). This in a city that is 55% nonwhite as of the 2000 census.

Unfortunately, the Obama administration is shaping up to be AT LEAST as much of an affront and people may well think that well, now that we've had our first black president, and after what that first black president did and how he conducted himself, we can now get back to the business of electing white men as our presidents. There's no breakthru at all....this puke has set race relations in this country almost all the way back to Selma.... Sticker shock will surely, IMO, prevent a repeat performance of this sort of altruistic nonsense and if, IF there is EVER another black president, it will be because the measure of the man was considered, not his race.
