Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The DOW is -1.44% year to date...

Does that mean the stimulus plan is stalled?

I certainly did better than -1.44% in the past year.

Brokers etc...are making a killing in this market!

If you bought Ford you sure did. I am keeping an eye on BP. If the spill and our government do not bankrupt them it could be a good buy. Just have to see what their liability will be and watch for the low point.

That's gonna be a tough call...that 200b figure is the STARTING POINT...the figure will go up from there....

They even have strip joints suing BP because the fishermen and shrimpers don't have enough money to go to the nudie bars...they
are claiming damages....

Yes it will be. Don't jump in now. Just keep it in mind and watch it as a possibility. I like to start looking for the next investment before it becomes attractive to the masses. Something like BP may pan out it may not. If you hear rumblings of chapter 7/11 then obviously stay away.

And no, I am not a broker, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night

Interesting that the Euro-Socialists are telling Obama that his Socialist spending programs are too extravagant...

Wish I still had ford! I owned it for a lil while...forget what I bought it at....but it was cheap!

Maybe like $1.50 and sold at $4??

basically if you bought anything at their lows you could've made a killing.

I've been watching blockbuster....worried they'll go out of business, even just as a trade....though, seems to be going from .25 to .40 back n forth, but if it bounces back to a couple bucks, whoa! lol.

have thought about BP, i know they've been down, its hard to say what's gonna go on.
