Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Administration Weighs Bypassing Congress to Let Illegal Immigrants Stay

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010...al-immigrants/

Cap and trade, Helthcare, drilling rights, oh and denying legal residents rights to return back into this country from abroad. Hey, where are all those folks who claimed Bush wanted too much power? Are you will to protest this if he goes ahead with this idea? Are you ready to die?

You know, I have really been hoping that everything would peacefully change but as time goes on the more I feel that mass civil unrest is fast approaching.

If this mass "legalization" goes through I honestly hope that the citizens of America will rise up and begin doing what it takes, no matter what, to secure our borders... all of them.

War needs to be officially declared on Mexico. Mexicans are invading this country armed with weapons and killing the citizens of the United States of America on their way in. Armed persons from a foreign country invading and murdering citizens........ This is an act of war no matter how you slice it. The citizens of the United States of America will have to rightfully declare war on Mexico and begin killing the invaders as an act of self defense. Because we all know damn well that our presidents, both past and present, would rather sit on the sidelines acting like bitches and aren't going to do **** about it.

Holy Chit! Watch the flood gates open. We need to take America back. After reading this, it makes going to work tomorrow seem not so important. The president and this administration are out of comtrol and should go to prison for treason.

He also, during his tenure as Houston police chief, criticized ICE's key program that draws on local law enforcement's support.

The base fault is with democracy. Running a government according to the whims of nincompoops manipulated by a docile and supine propaganda machine (mainstream news media) . . . how could any other outcome result, in the long term? I don't have a solution. I guess having some sort of criteria for a right to vote might help -- like you have to pay taxes, you have to own property, you need some skin in the game of some sort -- but where we are at today that would never fly. We may improve things in November by replacing a lot of democrats with republicans, but long term it is silly to think that somehow things are going to return to the "good path." My argument for this would be to point out that the Republicans were not particularly principled when they were in control of things, did not make the necessary hard and unpopular choices. For example, we have had a US-Mexico border problem BEFORE the Obama administration. GW Bush did not address this problem either. Additionally, we have had an excess spending problem BEFORE the Obama administration (granted, Obama has taken profligate, reckless spending to an entirely new level, a much more dangerous level for both the economy and for the government).

If you look at the long term trend of democracy in the US, it is not a pretty picture. There is no reason to believe this trend is going to be interrupted. I lament that, but I'm a realist. And I'm not going to sacrifice my life or countenance the sacrifice of the lives of my children in some quixotic attempt to reverse this. The die is cast.
