Really.... The leftists are a bunch of simpletons. Government "spending" via tax credits only works for as long as the credits remain in place. After the credits expire, activity dies off, generally to even lower levels, because those who had planned to buy in, say, 2010, accelerated their purchase to 2009 to take advantage of the credit. And, others might put the brakes on a transaction, hoping that a new credit will become available later.

If any president should be tried for wasting tax payers money, its this one. He single handed took tax payers money and basically gave it to all his buddies for campaign promises. All saying it was stimulus money.

I mean, cash for clunkers alone should put him behind bars.
