Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Time to clean house....

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/06/22...a-border-town/

I believe we're gettin' to killin' time, now. Mexican gangs are threatening Arizona local cops if they interfere with their drug business and conduct off-duty busts. I am thinking that a 'killing fields' approach is in order here, as one would eradicate rats from one's trash heap, so this sort of scum needs eradication....a bounty on 'hands' or 'ears' perhaps ? What does this do to the 'racial profiling' argument ?

You know, bergall, you need to learn to show a little respect.

Those are not "drug dealers." Don't be so harsh.

They're "undocumented pharmacists."

Now THAT is FUNNY !!! HEHEHEHEHEHHEEHH !!!!

I have a solution for those Undocumented Pharmacists....
a pill of .380 diameter, weighing 124gr, copper-coated lead at 1100 fps applied liberally to the chest, neck and head area...Hehehhehehehe.....

But seriously, when will the non-president wake up and do his duty ?

I believe stronger medicine is in order... This has been a persistent and long term affliction, and I don't think that such a weak prescription will efficiently cure the problem. I'd think that .223 pills weighing 68 grains, at 3000 fps, or some 150 gr. .308's at 2700 fps would do the trick much more effectively.

It has reached the point that continued failure to enforce the border is treason.

Hmmm.....it seeems both prescriptions will work....one is designed for close-in work, the other for long-distance contact. Either would be satisfactory, as long as ONE OF THEM is applied.

I agree with the 'treason' part....especially in light of Kyl's revelations about why President-puke won't secure the border.

Not to take up for the terrorist in chief but isn't it the responsibility of congress, and not POTUS, to maintain our borders?

Well, the Congress wrote and passed the laws that currently define immigration, border protocols, etc. They are the LEGISLATIVE branch. There are federal agencies charged with border security....BORDER PATROL, IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE, and lately, the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. For them to NOT be doing their jobs, there had to be a directive from way up in their individual as well as collective heirarchies which told them STOP. I do not believe the congress is the 'point of contact'. I would think the TINC is the responsible party....but then again, what do I know, I'm just an idiot. So, let's put it out there:

Does anybody know THE responsible party for border security ?

I believe it goes something like this:

Congress enacts the laws and appropriates funds needed to pay for enforcement.

Courts interprets the laws to ensure Constitutional compliance and tries cases, civilly and criminally, for violations of the laws.

The Executive Branch, through DOJ, HSA, etc., enforce the laws.

That's kind of what I was headed for....the EXECUTIVE branch bears the responsibility for enforcement....."to provide for the common defense".....

It looks like the people that live on the border are gonna have to be responsible for border security because this government sure doesn`t seem to give a damn.......
