Default Question on assulting a police officer

So, let me pose this question. If I went to say Mexico City, and hurled large rocks at a police officer there, whats the chances I will get shot???

Or even in this country, lets say I saw a MD state police, and started hurling large stones at him over and over, what would be my chances of coming out this alive?

I mean I am just freakin curious is all.

Common sense is dead in this world.

Yep, a border patrol cop shot a Mexican teenager who was throwing rocks. Border patrol cops are often pelted with rocks by illegal aliens on the US side of the border. Sadly, there is a gold chance that the border patrol cop will get jail time: That is the way it is in our politically correct and gutless society.

Id like to think the LEO would respond with appropriate vigor
to stop the assault. Is there a real life incident that triggered this?
Yesterday, HPD shot & killed a guy who charged a cop with a machete. The cop is okay.
Yes, someone brought a machete to a gun fight.

JoeA: Yes, real life incident... Someone brought a rock to a gunfight, and lost. Imagine that...

And believe me sometimes I would like to hurl rocks at the po po. But you know what, I know better. And if I did get shot doing it, I would expect to get shot.

certainly would depend on the situation here in the states..if the cops could not flee from the situation, then yes deadly force...but lets say they see you throwing these rocks and start moving closer to you as to be in range and strart taking hits and then shoot you, would seem to me they were trigger happy.

So you always expect police to flee all dangerous situations? I have yet for a state police to run from me. Now, they run at me, never from me.

Thats a rather novel concept there.

You realize that if you applied this same logic to all possible deadly encounters, you would have to flee from a home invasion to use deadly force, flee from somebody trying to kill your kid and other equally ridiculous self defense situations where using deadly force would obviously be justified.

The lesson the Mexicans should learn from this is.........Cross the border "LEGALLY" and Don`t throw rocks at people with guns because you could get shot and killed.......
