Maybe not new. We already know his laser like focus on jobs meant nothing. The oil spill isn't going well but he's going to kick ass. So now he thinks he's going back to a croud he feels he can get away with lieing to, the senior citizens. He's lieing to them about his healthcare plan because they have found out other wise. Anyone see the clip of Nancy at her healthcare presentation?
and just when you thought Canada has an awesome system:
Surgeons had to remove three feet of dead tissue from a colon cancer patient’s small bowel after staff at a Canadian hospital waited seven days for life-saving surgery, the Vancouver Sun reported.
Jill Hoskyn, a 56-year-old North Delta resident, spent a month in the Surrey Memorial Hospital in British Columbia, recovering from the April 1 surgery, which doctors delayed in favor of watchful monitoring for a few days. Although she agreed to wait, Hoskyn began begging for surgery when the pain became too much.
"Our kids are always our kids,” Marjorie Robinson, Hoskyn’s mother and a retired nurse, said. “I was there sitting with her every day and she was in so much pain, and hallucinating from the morphine drugs, and she was desperate to get the surgery."
Hoskyn could not eat solid food for weeks before, then after the surgery, and lost nearly 25 percent of her weight. She also had to stop radiation and chemotherapy treatments because of her weak physical state, making her prognosis uncertain.
“Seven weeks post-op, our daughter is still struggling to recover," Robinson said.
Dr. Peter Blair, medical director of the Fraser Health region surgical program, doubts that the delay in treatment was the reason Hoskyn had to remain in the hospital for a month after surgery, even though he was surprised by the length of time.
"Unscheduled patients are all vying for operating room time and so they must be prioritized by surgeons. Having said that, I'm not faulting the surgeon at all," Blair said.
Apparently, neither does Hoskyn, who said she knows her surgeon did his best to get her into the OR.
Hoskyn was diagnosed with colon cancer last August, and classified with stage III cancer last October.
Welcome Obamacare!!!!!!

My bad, this was the left getting pissed over the lack of funding from the federal government. This stuff is going to get real bad before it get's better. The left are so prone to violence once they don't get their way. The crap is going to hit the fan. Socialism is/has failed in this country. People are going to get cut off of the life of luxury, living off of other people's money and it aint going to be pretty.

Funny thing...unless I miss the mark, it's ALWAYS some lunatic lefty who picks up a gun to affect political change. The 'revolutionary' mindset is not patient and it is not tuned to peaceful change in the ballot box. There are lots of us who are ready for trouble. What an awesome bit of word smithing, DD ! Post of the day !
1.5 million are set to loose their health insurance because they bought plans that don't include catostrophic coverage. Hey Will, I thought Obama said if you like your insurance you could keep it? Apparently not true if Obama doesn't like your plan. Go figure.

It's simpler than that. At one point, I had seen that part of the law was that there could be no new policies written after a 5-year period during which the law was in effect. So in 5 years, it's done, provided I heard correctly and that part made it into the final draft of the bill. But that's not the worst part of it, and it illustrates the kind of lying disgusting mutant vipers the democrats have become in their craven quest for power (wow ! I hate these !). They have set the penalties for non-compliance at LESS THAN THE COST OF THE POLICIES !!! So, as a matter of policy, and most beneficial to big business and "THE RICH", these pieces of scat have made it CHEAPER TO DROP THE COVERAGE AND PAY THE FINES THAN TO INSURE A COMPANY'S EMPLOYEES !!! I can't wait until the blue-collar socialists start dying in hospital waiting rooms, waiting their 'fair turn' for what ails 'em. They asked for it, and by crackie they're gonna get it whether they want it or not.
Fyi, its not the fines for not covering employees of X size corporations that will casue them to drop coverage. Its the fines for not paying enough for a planned blessed by the regime that's going to make the companies say the hell with it. It costs X to comply and Y to say screw it. Y is a lot cheaper than X.
