They say 42k for every American is what the national deficit is at. Not household, per person! Does that figure include children as well? Can I just pay it off now so when everybody else gets sucked down into national bakruptcy I am free and clear?
No NJ you can't. The unfortunate thing is that National debt is pennies when compared to the real debt of our federal government. The real debt of our federal government is now nborth of 100 trillion dollars. Most of that money is in entitlements ie SS, medicare and medicaid. Hey Mcfly, are we allowed to discuss them?
