Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default So North Korea torpedoed?

The North Koreans torpedo a ship, warns the world about any type of retaliation and Obama's administration gives lip service once again. Just like the Dec. 31 deadline for Iran to stop producing a nuke came and went with nothing more than just more lip service. That is if you exclude the disrepecting of Isreal because the US is too scared to react/lead. So too will anything this adminstration is now saying it will do in response to this act of war. However, at least they respect us right Libs? Perhaps Obama is bucking to be the first person to receive that new medal of rstraint that he's proposing. You know, the participation trophy gone military?

Between Iran and North Korea, expounded by Radical Muslims, times are getting real scary.

I heard some interesting news on potential motivations for the DPRK to attack and sink the Cheonan.

1. It's revenge for a naval incident last year between two vessels. The ROK shelled a DPRK vessel and killed 2 sailors.

2. It's intended to bolster the reputation of Kim Jong-un who will replace his dad Jong-il.

3. It's meant to spur ROK to get in line with the north. For the last 10yrs, the south pretty much met all of the north's demands. The new government on the south is not showing the same level of aquiescense.

It will be interestting to see hwo this works out. The south has to consider that Seoul is in range of some big guns that the north has aimed right at them.

+1

Yep, prior to Obama North Korea was a peace loving communist dictatorship whose army was growing fat on food donated by the US thanks to that dedicated anti-communist George Bush.

No, never said that however when did they actually torpedo anything? Maybe shot down something? Perhaps launched a few missles inside the country?

Hey Boysda, do you REALLY want to revisit NK during Bush administration? Perhaps you just may want to quit with discussing Obama's approach of lip service and negotiate from a position of weakness. Just a thought.

I guess I'll sleep well tonight since you put it that way. After all, Bill's record there is one of dominance (at least for one of the parties involved).
