Default H80, whoops I mean Will, here is a sign of brilliant liberals.

[sarcasm] A sure sign of an overly intelligent person is when said person criticizes a bill while admitting they have not actually read it, nor know what is in it. Or; A sure sign of an overly intelligent person is when said person uses the band wagon to stir up controversy for personal gain, while having no clue what they are criticizing. [/sarcasm]

Fraud/Fail Item 2:
  • Homeland Security czarina Janet Napolitano, former Democrat governor in Arizona, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration. She’s not read it.
  • United States Attorney General Eric Holder, the top prosecutor in the country, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration. He’s not read it.
  • Assistant Secretary of State, PJ Crowley, Bureau of Public Affairs, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration. He’s not read it.
  • Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa, who has spearheaded the boycott of Arizona, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration, which is similar to the illegal immigration California Penal Code. He’s not read it.
  • Likewise, City Councilman Ed Reyes of Los Angeles, who has also supported a boycott of Arizona, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration — he also has claimed he didn’t know that California has a similar law. He’s not read it.
  • Worst of all, Pres. Barack Obama, the commander in chief of this country, has publicly denounced the new Arizona SB 1070 law on illegal immigration, which mimics the 70-year-old federal law on immigration. While he’s not admitted to not having read it, his outrageous, false remarks about Phoenix police being permitted to harass Hispanics while going out for ice cream loudly and clearly indicate he has not read it.

Now lets address Blumenthal:

Being a liar and trying to play it off is a sure sign of intelligent. I guess you were onto something with your diatribe post. The secular progressives are sooooooo smart.

Yep. Those Liberals is brilliant...

Holder and Napolitano, and, no doubt, the Big Boss, haven't read the bill. And the Moron Left in California is calling for a boycott of Arizona, DESPITE THE FACT THAT CALIFORNIA ALREADY HAS A SIMILAR LAW ON THE BOOKS.

Quote:
CAL IMMIGRATION LAW SIMILAR TO ARIZONA'S

Below is the California immigration law and Attorney General's Opinion upholding the law.
(a) Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.

(b) With respect to any such person who is arrested, and suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws, every law enforcement agency shall do the following:

(1) Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding documentation to indicate his or her legal status.

(2) Notify the person of his or her apparent status as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws and inform him or her that, apart from any criminal justice proceedings, he or she must either obtain legal status or leave the United States.

(3) Notify the Attorney General of California and the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service of the apparent illegal status and provide any additional information that may be requested by any other public entity.

(c) Any legislative, administrative, or other action by a city, county, or other legally authorized local governmental entity with jurisdictional boundaries, or by a law enforcement agency, to prevent or limit the cooperation required by subdivision (a) is expressly prohibited.
And, there is even a California Attorney General opinion upholding the penal code:
California AG Opinion 01-213 (11/16/2001): While California’s Penal Code Section 843b’s mandate that local officers inquire into immigration status has been enjoined, officers can still voluntarily make the inquiry. A local law enforcement officer during detention of Spanish speaking person for otherwise valid purposes may question the person as to immigration status, but may not question status solely because the individual speaks a non-English language. Local officers may continue investigation into a person’s immigration status prior to arraignment on state charges. In footnote 4, the Opinion indicates “Civil violations of immigration law are not cognizable” under a formula in Pen. Code s. 836, sub. (a), (a)(1), which allows California peace officers to arrest either in obedience to a warrant or without a warrant where the officer has probable cause to believe that a public offense has been committed in the officer’s presence.”
San Diego calls for a boycott of Arizona, only to discover that they will lose huge convention bucks from Arizona companies but Arizona isn't losing much of anything from San Diego.

Quote:
In California, some officials are likewise worried about the counter-boycott on San Diego.

"We're in a very tough environment already because of everything else going on, and we don't need another negative impact to our industry," Convention and Visitors Bureau President Joe Terzi told the Union-Tribune. "This affects all the hardworking men and women who count on tourism for their livelihoods, so we're saying, don't do something that hurts their livelihoods."

"I've been approached by a number of hotels who are very concerned because they've received cancelations from Arizona guests," Namara Mercer, executive director of the county Hotel-Motel Association, told the newspaper.
Seattle calls for a boycott, but, exempts the company that provides red light monitoring services. Guess they're hypocrites, since they don't want to put their money on the line...

Quote:
Sixty percent of Seattleites say the city should continue to do business with companies in Arizona, despite the fact that state has passed a controversial immigration law that most people in the Emerald City oppose, a new poll shows.
The Seattle City Council on Monday unanimously passed a resolution directing departments to refrain from doing new business with firms in Arizona to protest the new law (existing contracts - including a $1 million red light camera deal - are not affected by the boycott).

But according to a KING5/SurveyUSA poll, 60 percent of city residents say Seattle should keep up commerce with enterprises in the Grand Canyon State.
The socialists/leftists/democrats are about as deep as a puddle of gnat's pee...

Will, H80 or what ever name you might be using right now. I got a new name you can log in under. Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, Dodge. You can even post a picture of Rip Torn for your avatar.
