Cool Illegitimacy? Wave Of The Future?

This from a column by Clarence Page reporting on research done by the Pew Research Center.

41% of American births in 2008 were born to single mothers, up from 28% in 1990.

Illegitimacy rate among:

Blacks - 72%

Hispanics - 53%

Caucasians - 29% (I'll list the percentages although Hispanics are actually Caucasians)

Asians - 17%

The same study did find a decline from 1990 in birth rates among teenagers. They suggest that teenagers are becoming less sexually active or that they have increased the use of contraceptives, no idea whether this comes from an increased fear of STDs, or a rise in conservative attitudes.

Any Discussion guys?

Perhaps we might be able to discuss cutting welfare way back.

And people wondered how it was possible that Obama got elected. Getting worse as the generations pass. One of these days it will be rare if ever that whitey gets elected.

Am I the only one that didn't know that?

Babies daddies are not important. Its a bragging thing anyway. I hear all the time, with full bragging rights, "I got a baby with her, and two with her, etc, etc." And they do not pay for a one. Even had a man brag to me , while showing me all his child support books, that he doesnt know why the State sends the payment books because he doesnt pay anyway. On the girls side I hear, " His daddy is so and so, while his little sisters daddy is whatchamadodal, and their little brothers daddy is in jail". What a wonderful world we live in. All along, you and I foot the bill. Because I have been told countless times, " I cant work, I got to take care of my babies." Funny how I got their babies in my school all day and the coaches have got them at the end of the day. Oh well, lets just keep on paying them to breed.

Better yet, let's just keep teaching them abstinence only and then let their kids starve to death! That'll teach em!

Better yet, teach them to accept responsibility for their children, both mom and baby daddy.

If they weren't getting paid by the state to pop out illegitimate kids every year or two they might actually start thinking about not popping them out,

If they actually did think about not being able to afford the child and the child actually causing them more of a financial burden and decided not to get pregnant by another worthless POS we wouldn't have to worry about them starving would we?

If they still refuse to accept responsibility for having children and pop them out any way and can't care for them then the state may as well take them away since the tax payer is going to be on the hook any way and adopt them out to people that can take care of them.
