Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Pakistani Arrested For NY City Bomb

The FBI has arrested a Pakistani man for planting the NY City bomb that failed to function. The Taliban has taken credit for this one: Looks like they may be right.

NEW YORK – A U.S. citizen from Pakistan accused of driving a bomb-laden SUV into Times Square and parking it on a street lined with restaurants and Broadway theaters was to appear in court Tuesday to face charges for his failed attempt to set off a massive fireball and kill Americans, federal authorities said.

The suspect, Faisal Shahzad, was taken into custody late Monday by FBI agents and New York Police Department detectives while trying to leave the country, according to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and other officials. He was identified by customs agents at John F. Kennedy International Airport and was stopped before boarding a flight to Dubai, Holder said early Tuesday in Washington.

Shahzad is a naturalized U.S. citizen and had recently returned from a five-month trip to Pakistan, where he had a wife, according to law enforcement officials who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation into the failed car bombing.

The fact that he's Paki goes a long way toward explaining the failure to detonate...

The problem here, is that the Paki government controls a sizeable arsenal of nuclear weapons. If the Taliban or al-Qaida succeed in taking control of that country, we'll have a lot more to watch out for than propane and a crappy detonator. I do not know the logistics of the Paki/Afghan topography, but I would think we might want to begin showing these insects the express lane to allah....

You mean it wasn't a white, middle aged male, who frequents the Tea Parties? Hmmmmm, I guess Clinton got it wrong?

Hmmm, that guy doesn't fit the "profile" of a terrorist bomber, does he???

I heard this morning that the building he tried to bomb has offices for the company that owns the Comedy Channel, which broadcasts South Park, which spoofed Allah.... Nice peaceful religion those folks have, eh?

Nice to see that the LEO's got the guy quickly. Of course, they've also conclusively proven that Mayor Michael Bloomberg would need to add at least 100 points to his IQ in order to reach "moron"... Seems that he suggested that it might have been someone with a political agenda, like opposition to the healthcare bill... Why are these lowlife scumbags, mostly on the left, but some ostensibly on the right (i.e. Bloomberg) so insistent that the Tea Party types are trying to foment violence, when it is patently obvious that the ONLY violence of late is from (a) Muslims and (b) Leftist /Leftist sympathizers?

Rush reported that the feds were able to track this guy down by using phone records and there was no mention whether or not a warrant was involved. Anyone her upset if they caught this guy with out a warrant and sifted through millions of phone records?
