Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Inflation rose 2% in March.

Just wait, it is only going to get worse. Obama made sure of that with his stinkulus bill.

And I recall being told that this was not going to happen.

That's what happens when the morons in charge operate on the asinine belief system that "We're the government. We can spend more, because we can print more..."

Azzclowns. And the people who vote for them...

Oh, just wait, if you all thought inflation was bad under Carter, you haven't seen anything yet.

According to the original post, it was 2% in March. That equates to 24% per year, which is not a healthy inflation level. Perhaps burnie could provide the link? Was this 2% an annual rate? Or for the month?

Here are inflation rates going back all the way to 1914. As you can see, 2.31% is pretty healthy.

I do agree with you shooter that the govt needs to get spending under control. Thankfully, govt debt has become a big issue throughout the entire globe. Hopefully Greece will open the current administration's eyes to what could potentially be a big problem for the U.S.

Last March it was -.4%, it is now 2%. I fear it is going to hit the roof when all the unbacked money starts getting accounted for.
