Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Liberals; "You must change, not me." Hypocrisy revisited.

http://bostonherald.com/news/opinion...pe_and_change/

Call them “NIMBLYs” - Not In My Back (Liberal) Yard.
For nine years, the Halliburton-hating, Bush-bashing, Earth-loving, green-going Kennedys of Cape Cod have been fighting tooth, nail and polo mallet against the Cape Wind project. The same liberals who support “smart grid” laws that would let the government literally control the thermostat in your home have spent nearly a decade lawyering up against windmills 15 miles from their Hyannis playground.
Now that Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has issued his ruling, I suppose dejected Kennedys can get together and cry in their Bordeaux at the home of their fellow West Coast “environmentalists,” Tom and Gisele.

When last we saw the World’s Most Beautiful Model (and his wife), they were hectoring us about something called Earth Hour. We were supposed to sit at home in the dark on a Saturday night observing a carbon-free Lenten hour of penance, atoning for our energy-consuming sins.
The Brady-Bundchens, on the other hand, will soon be honoring Earth Hour in their 22,000 square-foot uber-mansion in California. The daunting task of turning out the lights in all eight of their bedrooms - not to mention the workout room, the weight room, the cardio room and, possibly, the covered bridge - will be left to the butler.
Or to the world’s largest Clapper.
There are no published estimates of how much carbon it will take to heat the lagoon-shaped pool or cool the six-car garage at The House Gisele’s Assets Built. However, I’ve made a rough estimate using another leader in the green movement’s mansion in Tennessee. Al Gore’s place is actually about 10 percent smaller than the Bradys’ house. Even so, in 2008 Gore used as much power each month as the average American family uses in a year.
What I admire about Mr. and Mrs. Average is that, even though they have 1/12th Gore’s carbon footprint, they never hassle me about my non-CFL light bulbs on their way to the airport to climb on their private, carbon-spewing jet.
The hallmark of modern American liberalism is that there is no limit to the amount of other people’s money they are willing to spend in the fight to do good; and there is no inconvenience so great that they won’t foist it on everyone else in the cause of social justice.
But when the going actually gets tough, the left gets the hell out.
Give up their big houses? Sacrifice their Nantucket Sound views? No way. When Barack Obama says we all must sacrifice for the common good, he really means you must sacrifice your time and income to make liberals like him look good.
Seriously, once Obamacare is fully implemented and we’re stuck with government health care, do you really expect to see the names Obama or Kennedy or Pelosi on an Ontario-like 120-day wait list for surgery?
Of course not. They’ll be opting out, getting quality care when they want it from the doctor of their choice.
The same with cap and trade. Limousine liberals will pay more, but they can afford it. It will be regular schlubs like you who will have to choose between lunch money and gas money. Small businesses will have to pull trucks off the road and workers off the payroll.
All so lefties can wage their war against their imaginary climate apocalypse at your expense.

Bernie, your getting warmer, where we are headed is that place that we never thought we would see. It is like that slow motion nightmarish fall we take in our sleep. Plunging into a deep dark hole and frailing around, waiting for the ground to come up. I hope we make it to election time, and Iam not so sure that it will stop whats been already put into motion.

Tom Brady won three Superbowls and Gisele is a supermodel. The fact is that extraordinary athletic ability and good looks are richly rewarded in our society. They were born with these attributes, they did not do anything to earn them. I practiced very hard and barely made my high school football team. I could complain that it is unfair that Tom Brady was born with more athletic ability than I have and instead of being a star in the NFL I had to settle for going to medical school and becoming a doctor. Doctors earn a decent living but nothing compared to an MVP NFL quarterback. I do not know what that says about our society's priorities but it is unlikely to change and there is nothing I can do about it.

Remember who you are talking about, Liberals; lying hypocrites, I wouldn't expect anything else from them. I would add some more expletives however they would be censored.

I'd rather French kiss a rattle snake than shake hands with a Liberal, at least with the snake you know what you're getting.

Lem, the simple point is they are "greenies", spouting off about how we must save the planet by cutting back, etc. Ever heard of leading by example? Only blind sheep who are desparate for an idol to worship would follow the likes of hypocrites like them, algore, etc. It has nothing to do with their talent or their looks, other than nobody would give either of them a second look, and certainly wouldn't listen to their rhetoric, if not for their talents, and looks...and money.

Everything Brady does, is about the game. Everything you do is about people. How many lives have you touched today. No comparison. God knows what he's doing.

I agree. I was an NCAA all American and when asked how I was able to do what I did, I would always say; "God gave me a gift, I just tried my best to use it to my best ability." I used my gift to get me an educations that would provide for the long run. I would have loved to have gone pro, but lost that chance due to three knee surgeries.
