Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

It can work both ways, if they follow through with this.

Ab-so-[earthy anglo-saxon verb withheld]-ing-lutely!

The methods of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" needs to be studied by the Tea Party movement and embraced. This book starts out by candidly avowing that its purpose is to enable the Have-nots to wrest power from the Haves -- for the disenfranchised to wrest power from the establishment. Today the establishment IS the left wing of the Democrat party. Think about it: they have the presidency, the US senate, the US house, the mainstream media, and arguably a strong minority of the US Supreme Court. THEY ARE THE ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

I believe that the resourceful young people who caught-out ACORN in untenable action and who brought the entire ACORN organization crashing down used Alinsky tactics and revealed the power of these tactics for use not just by left wingers but also by conservatives.

Read the book. I have. It is short and sweet and easily understood. Going beyond to inventing specific tactics for specific situations requires some analysis and creative thought.

I'd venture a guess that a very large number of them are folks with their hand out, wanting the government to tend them from cradle to grave...

Oh... Nevermind. You already said that... "What a bunch of morons."

Not so around here. Our college campus Republicans are having one and the party poppers are going to be the professors. They are supposed to gather, make signs, then march down to the event.

The professors are supposed to be protesting at a student rally. Just too funny.

I know the students can do things like that on campus but I'm not sure the staff can. I wonder how many will be commiting some kind of conflict of interest. Class dismissed today.

I remember, back in the day, I used to work security details with my partner Tommy whom I still look up to, today. Anyway, these were small affairs, parish bazaars, travelling 'feast' troupes, etc. In every one of them, there was 1 guy or two that wanted to start trouble.
The problem with group mentality is that just one guy can get a full-scale riot going on.
The Tea party folks need to understand that rule number 1 in averting a riot is to identify, isolate, and remove the 'informal leaders' of such nonsense. When someone is asked politely to leave and his response is not conducive to following a directive, there are ways to deal with it (and we did !). Similarly, the Tea Party folks need to understand that nothing works better than an good head cracking. Better if the 'crack-ee' never sees it coming...and once down, the classic Tarantella can be danced on his head, face and neck area, just for emphasis and good measure. Sure they'll take some heat over it....but there won't be any more talk about mealymouthed puke libs infiltrating an orderly get together for purposes of breaking it up. I know it's a 'RADICAL' approach...I attribute it to my somewhat disorderly youth, so I see no problem with the tea party folks hiring security (hell's angels maybe ? hehehe) and have their goons stomp some liberal gutts into the pavement if they prove a disruption. It's not any different than WE would get if we disrupted one of their putsch meetings to sanctify commie obammie.... I know the unions employ professional goons to take care of situations of this ilk, why not protect ourselves and this movement from being 'aborted' while it's still gestating ?

Of course it would have to be the liberals trying to sabotage the Tea Party movement. It couldn't be the buttheads that are actually participating could it??????

Just like Fox and Rush keep filling your brains with. Don't listen to anyone but us and if you hear anything to the contrary it is an undermining.

Tell that to the persons who organized it. Not us. Did you read the article and the letter???? Of course you didnt. Just call us all racist, and the likes. That is all the liberals have left.
