Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The irony. Cali students riot in the streets.

http://offshoreinn.com/investing/uni...ct-more-riots/

So let me get this right; Liberal students, are rioting for having to pay extra tuition fees, caused by the liberal spending practices that were not funded in the first place.

On another note, let’s look at this situation and compare it to what is going on with other protests;

Students burn, beat, and destroy. Students are mostly liberal. These student are in California, so I assume more liberal than others.

Tea party protests have no destruction, no violence, and the area is usually clean when they leave.

Just imaging if the federal government didn't bail out Ca last year how bad the riots would be. Can we say Greece, Cali style?

One time I am glad they did. The only reason I am, is because we keep getting lots of California Trash here in Texas. And by trash, I mean no offense to all residents of California, but what we have been seeing around here are uneducated, mean spirited, free loaders. Not that California is the only place these people exist, its just that most all of the moveins around here, from California, are just as I discribe. I dont know what the connection is, but man, it is unreal.

Thank god we're just stealing all of their jobs here in NC. I guess it's a good thing that CA has taxed the living crap out of them and they can only afford to move no farther than half way across the states.

We call 'em transients, they're probably displaced New Orleansers or from the East Coast. We would send our senators (and Pelosi too) but they won't leave.

It's fun watching the students "demonstrate" shoulder to shoulder with their professors. One wants lowered tuition and the others want a pay raise, .... hmmm, bit of a dichotomy here?? Our institutions of higher learning haven't been concerned with "learning" for some time. Hey, maybe we can raise the specter of "BIG Education," tuition has out stripped the cost of living by leaps and bounds!!

Quite frankly in my opinion, Tuition costs are not high enough. The more an education costs, the more the student must want that education to get it.

Really not sure it matters at all when daddy's paying for it and already earning 200k+/year. Still plenty of rich kids failing etc...5years and we're not talking a engineering degree here...

Certainly when a student/kid is paying for their own tuition it does.
