Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Say something bad about this administration, get called to congress.

And some here say that Obama is not part of the Chicago thug machine.

What happened to freedom of speech? Oh yea, it only protects liberal, Bush bashing speech.

I am not a CEO of a major corporation, and no one has ever said I was very practical in such things. Still, if I was called upon by congress in this way I would be very tempted to send them a pungent reply in the negative. Of course, there may be something about this I don't understand. Maybe the government has the power to direct publically traded companies to report at their discretion? I know that in the world of patent law the US Patent and Trademark Office can "request information" from a patent application (and his counsel), and you better comply by providing the requested information.

Even so, probably your point, it does make one think about the prospects for intimidation and bullying by congress. I show my cynacism and anti-government bias here, I grant.

Of course, accepting this as a done deal, the testimony could play to the advantage of those who doubt the rosy financial projections of the Democratic healthcare bill zealots.

"Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, in an interview with CNBC, called the companies' statements "premature and irresponsible" last week."

What???? What does this clown know about these companies financials??? The only thing "premature and irresponsible" was this healthcare bill. Clown.

He has no idea what these companies will have to pay. Nobody even read this stupid bill until after it was passed. Then he has the balls to get up and say that these companies are "irresponsible"? Yeah, go ahead Mr. Locke. You're proving to the world how liberals think.

Too funny, follow the law they set up and still get your hand slapped. FYI, I'm talking about the SEC laws they enacted a few years ago.

Hey, did the most intelligent man on this forum claim that more people that are in the risk pool, it would spread the risk out and premiums would go down? I'm looking forward to that pay raise.

Don't worry, you'll find out soon enough. He'll be the guy that talks in circles and then attacks you because he has nothing else left.
