Had just a few mins to again hear the "Fair and Balanced" radio station over lunch today.
Some But&hole filling in for Rush got a caller.
She was concerned about the unknown's of the Student Loan program change. Rightfully so, the program in the past has been a huge money loser for banks and many banks have stopped doing the loans because many graduate and never pay back. But, BHO wants to provide opportunity for kids to get college loans. NOT MY POINT HERE.
The host immediately turned her question into the idea that Obama wants to continue to destroy the educational system and have students learning the basics later and later and have EVERYONE in college. Then went on to a ramble about how because of HC young adults are no longer adults at 18, it is now 26. (hmmm, he forgot to mention that in the past that age was 21 unless you were still in college.
THIS IS MY POINT with that idiotic station. How can anyone listen to that and nod their head yes yes. Makes no sense and callers and listeners are being played.
25 years from now when the proof comes out that he was wrong and he did his best to incite and infuriate people for politcal gains he will be long gone.
The ENTIRE platform of the Republicans now has turned to:

BHO provided an attempt at fixing a problem that is killing everyone in this country. See the difference, instead of listening to the fortune tellers he worked a problem that existed. 3 years ago my HC plan at work cost us 50% of what it does now. That is a 100% raise in 3 years. Thank you BHO.
Question: Why didn't the Reps address HC back in the 6 years when they could. Did they think it was going great and didn't need any attention. Kind of like the banks and Iraq I guess.
If we are to believe that they predict and know the future so well and should now listen to them, what do they have to say about what they weren't telling us in 2000-2006. Afterall, Rush and Co certainly could have predicted that since they are so smart.

FYi, Mark Steyn is spot on. He's lived under socialized medicine. FYI, the college loan take over is about more control and continuing the indoctrination of our youth. Who nows controls whether or not you get a loan? Furthermore, don't worry about having to pay it back becuase you no longer need to worry if you'll make enough money to pay it back. Obama has lowered the limit on how much of your paycheck must go towards student loans to 10%. Gee, why not make a wiser choice ahead of time to ensure there is a decent paycheck in your field of study?

Hmm at&t 1 billion healthcare charge this qtr. CAT 100 million healthcare charge. John Deere 150 million. Will's make believe company.....we are holding our breath to see how much our healthcare will rise (not fall) next year.

He didn't just lower it to 10% of your paycheck. He lowered it to 10% of your "discretionary income." Seems to me that that is a huge difference. "Discretionary Income," in my mind, is what you have left over after paying all your ordinary living expenses, i.e. food, shelter, utilities, transportation, etc., etc., etc.
